A rare and unusual late 19th Century French gilded ormolu desk clock and ink well. In the Louis XVI style, having cherubs either side of a classical Roman bust, supporting garlands of flowers. The white enameled clock face with an eight day duration, chiming on the hour and half hour. A drawer beneath the clock opens to reveal a pen tray and two ink wells with scrolling foliate decoration to the drawer front and feet.Batch 45 57870 C/C DNYKK
