A fine quality 19th-century watercolor entitled 'A Warwickshire cottage', depicting a young girl on the path with a family of Ducks outside an enchanting thatched country cottage. Painting measuring; 36cm wide x 25cm high Henry John Sylvester Stannard (1870-1951) was a British watercolor painter known for his pastoral scenes of the English countryside's cottages, mills, gardens, and farms. Born on July 12, 1870 in Bedford, England, Stannard came from a long line of artists and went on to attend the National Art Training School in South Kensington.Batch 45 C/C G9145/20 TNEZ
